Ghana is my father's homeland and in late spring 2014, I traveled there with him for the first time in almost 15 years.
I spent two weeks in Accra, the capital, and in Navrongo, a town in the upper east region of the country. I originally planned on filming and editing a short documentary about my visit, but once I was there I decided to save that ambitious project for a future trip.
I did manage to film a bit while I was there, and have found the 15-second format of Instagram videos to be perfect for sharing little nuggets of what I did capture. Watch two of the clips below and you can find more of these videos (and other personal projects) on my Instagram page.
